3D printing the proposed Mile High building for London

At a scale of 1:1600 the 3D printed model still 1 metre tall, and spanned the Thames.

3D printing a model 1000mm tall is a real challenge, and a request from "Audacity", based in London allowed us the opportunity to create a model of the design of the world's tallest building. The model building took 7 prints to complete and many hours of delicate post processing.

The building itself has been set up in four parts, the base is one solid unit, and stacked on top are the 3 towers that could rise to 1610m, if construction is approved. What ever happens this is the tallest 3D model we have ever made, very exciting!
