All 3D models will be priced on an individual basis, but as 3D Creation Lab grows we will be adding online quotations so that you will be able to generate prices from your own models. The information below shows the different options available.

White Detailed Material

We have two options available for this material. You can choose from one of the following categories depending on your needs: Express & Low cost. Both are easy to calculate as we use volume pricing which uses the model volume in cubic centimetres multiplied by the cost.

Express: With this option your model basically jumps the queue! We make your model a priority and get it onto the machine as soon as possible. (Larger models will require a longer delivery time depending on finished size). The price for this option is £3.03 per cubic centimetre.

Low Cost: With this option your order will be processed when we fill our machine and as such this option represents a considerable cost saving over the express option. We aim to ship all low cost orders within 7 days. The price for this option is £2.15 per cubic centimetre.

As this is the lowest cost option your models need to be supplied to us ready to print, which means checking it yourself before sending it. Have a look in our tutorials section for information on how to check your mesh.

To keep this price as low as possible there are a few requirements that apply to this option, they are as follows:

Finished overall model size must be smaller than 290 x 190 x 145mm (11.41 x 7.48 x 5.7 inches)
The minimum build charge is £10.00 exc. VAT for the low cost option and £17.50 for the express option
Only available for the white detailed material
For the low cost option, all orders must be processed and paid for through the website. This minimises our administration costs.
Most architectural models do not qualify for these options and will be priced on an individual basis.
The ratio of model to support material must be less than 1:1.5 (Most models will be ok with this, a model of a tube for example might not)

We can still quote for larger models and/or different materials but unfortunately we can't use this pricing method.

Durable and Colour Models

At the moment we can't offer the same services on colour or durable materials, so when you request either of these we will give you a price and a delivery on an individual basis. We will be looking to offer the same Express and Low priority services in the future at which point we will make sure everybody knows about it!
